About The Sparrow Foundation
Leaving the hospital after experiencing the loss of a child can be a time of mixed emotions for families. Many feel as though they are departing a place that holds the final precious memories of their baby. Established by Miss Colorado Princess Sparrow Kilgore, "The Sparrow Foundation" strives to offer solace to mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters who have lost a little one by providing them with the gift of a memorial teddy bear. Although nothing can erase the tragedy of losing a child, we hope to ensure that no family leaves the hospital with empty hands or aching arms.
