The Stitchery Limited was formed for two main purposes – to make small scale manufacturing possible for New Zealand designers, and secondly to be a learning environment. Manufacturing Whether you are just thinking about starting a label, or you are already in the thick of it, the team at The Stitchery can help you realise your dreams. We will work with you to: Develop a brief Draft the patterns Source your materials Prototype the patterns Revise the design based on fit model and your feedback Produce samples & tech sheets Manufacture We are happy to discuss and negotiate a charging/payment model that works for you as well as for us. We can also provide some business advice as part of the package particularly around branding, marketing and setting up an e-commerce site. Workshops & Classes We have a fully equipped facility with industrial and domestic sewing machines. The Stitchery is hireable on a daily basis. We can also negotiate an arrangement where The Stitchery can set up your workshop or class on our website so that customers can easily book in and pay upfront for your session. There is street parking during the week days. In the weekend and evenings there is a carpark that can be used. We have a toilet & fully equipped kitchen with kettle, microwave, oven, & fridge. From Monday to Saturday there is a coffee cart across the road that sells food too.
