About The Storydancer Project, Inc
The Storydancer Project (TSP), with partnering organizations, brings capacity-building programs and trainings that generate joy and foster greater self-care, resilience, and heart-centered leadership to many challenged by life circumstances. All TSP programs are based on an innovative self-care approach created by Zuleikha, called TAKE A MINUTE® (TAM), a proven movement method that resets the body into more open, resilient patterns, encouraging wellness, rejuvenation and an enlivened sense of self. Today, using the TAM® program, Zuleikha and TSP-trained facilitators work to cultivate health and resilience for thousands, from Navajo Nation and other parts of the United States, to India, and beyond. The Storydancer Project —Gives relaxation and self-care programs to families worldwide facing devastations of end-of-life care and cancer —Works with children subject to poverty and isolation in New Mexico and India —Trains Native American education and recovery organizations —Facilitates much needed self-care for Muslim women struggling to eke out a living in Delhi —Creates home self-care videos for Navajo mothers feeling isolated with the burdens of historical trauma —Moves with nurses on the frontline for stress-relief — Serves girls, women and families in marginalized communities.
