About The Strategic HR Forum
In 2008, Trey Halbert, CEO, ExperINS & LeAnn Jeter co-founded The Strategic HR Forum (SHRF) in Austin. Additional team members are Tami Andres, VP, HR Goodwin & Company serves as Executive Advocate, Cliff Wedgeworth, EVP, ExperINS and Stacey Aikman, Director of Operations and Talent, ExperINS. Our first meeting was in February 2009. We have nearly 250 Austin members & continue to grow. The Strategic HR Forum Mission Statement: Provide a platform for HR professionals to collaborate and share information on strategic initiatives, resources, talents, innovative ideas, & progressive concepts. Promoting the HR profession by demonstrating the HR department as a profit center. Vision: Build a forward-thinking team to transform and modernize HR practices to deliver strategic resources to members. Complimentary membership and invaluable benefits are sponsored by ExperINS. Each meeting offers a great speaker discussing topics relevant to us as HR professionals & leaders, ice breakers, our member-exclusive, confidential discussion including member-led Q & A's and networking with other HR professionals. One of the significant benefits of our group is being able to use each other as a resource. Members can quickly respond to emailed questions & share experience/expertise or follow the discussion to learn more about the subject. Membership: All practicing HR professionals are eligible to become members. Membership is not open to HR vendors. Member Responsibilities: • Members agree to abide by confidentiality, mutual support, & respect. • Actively participate in bi-monthly meetings.
