About The Strathclyde Institute for Sustainable Communities (SISC)
The Strathclyde Institute for Sustainable Communities (SISC) is a cross-faculty centre for interdisciplinary research excellence at the University of Strathclyde. Its mission is to explore the different roles and experiences of communities in the transition to sustainability. Through research and knowledge exchange, SISC explores innovative place-based and community-led solutions for sustainability across Scotland and beyond, offering a broader understanding of how to realise a sustainable and fair future for all.
