At The Strong and Brave, we are dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for families affected by rare and uncommon cancers, such as the Slaiding and Dolomite families. Our mission is to fight cancer in as many ways as possible by raising funds for research and medical advancements. According to the National Cancer Institute, rare cancers are those that affect fewer than 15 people per 100,000 each year.These cancers can affect any part of the body and have different risk factors, symptoms, and outlooks. Although science has discovered treatments for some cancer forms, new and more aggressive forms of this illness are spreading rapidly every day. Therefore, it is critical to raise funds towards cancer research. Our team collaborates with other organizations to make a greater impact in the fight against cancer. We have partnerships and sponsors that help us raise funds for advanced cancer research. We also connect patients with one-on-one patient care navigators due to the limited resources available for rare cancer types like Cole and Briana’s. Our primary goal is to increase awareness of these unusual kinds of cancers while assisting these families.
