About The Stronger We Band Together

The Stronger We Band Together is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering urban youth with the tools, mentorship, and experiences they need to thrive. Our mission is to equip young people with survival skills, professional development opportunities, and financial literacy while fostering mentorship that builds confidence and purpose. We believe in creating spaces where youth can explore careers, learn life skills, and connect with leaders who reflect their potential. Through our signature program, Project Pay It Forward: Neighborhood Heroes, we partner with schools and community leaders in Chicago’s 60612 area and beyond. Students engage in workshops, lectures, and networking sessions with professionals across industries like entertainment, law, business, trades, and the arts. We also incorporate outdoor education and community service experiences, preparing students for both personal and professional success. At our core, we strive to build stronger communities by building stronger youth — uniting education, mentorship, and opportunity to inspire the next generation of leaders.
