About The Tannery Creative
I started editing TV news when we filmed on tape, edited on tape, and played it out on tape. A lot has changed since then, and keeping up with the latest new trends, learning new software and employing new technologies has all been part of the process. But at the core of it, nothing has changed; it is still about telling a story - and telling it well. In 2020 I launched The Tannery Creative as a way to take twelve years of experience working in broadcast television motion graphics, and help as many companies, organisations and individuals as I could with promoting the things they are most passionate about. Over the years I've had the privilege of creating television programmes, promotional videos, explainer videos, and bringing branding to life. Working with people, I enjoy getting a glimpse at where their passions lie, why they're in this business or that charity, and their desire to let others know about it. It really is quite infectious. At the end I always feel a great sense of honour at having shared part of that journey with them.
