About The Tapscott Learning Trust
At the heart of The Tapscott Learning Trust is a commitment to outstanding education for all children and young people in our care. It’s a principle that has guided my teaching career from classroom through to headship and continues to underpin all that I do in my role as Chief Executive Officer. The Trust was founded by schools rated "good" or "outstanding" who benefitted from a history of working extremely successfully together before taking the decision to form a multi academy trust. This experience provided us with a blueprint for how schools can work together, sharing and developing teaching and learning practice, while also providing opportunities to maximise resources and ensure effective professional development for staff across the group to ensure that we not only deliver the best outcomes for our pupils, but also for our teams. However, we are never complacent and are always looking for ways that we can further develop our offer to our pupils, and adapt to meeting their needs and ensure that they are prepared and skilled to live life in our modern multicultural society. We work as a collective, guided by a set of common principles, whilst leaving schools free to harness their unique characteristics and make adaptations to best meet the needs of their communities. Our founding schools share a commitment to challenge themselves to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils. We are dedicated to providing a rich, broad and balanced curriculum to all, supported by extracurricular activities. We also believe strongly in working in partnership with parents and children to ensure that they are developing effective knowledge and skills for the next stages in their education and lives. If you share our vision of outstanding education for all children, through developing effective partnerships and always striving for the best then please do get in touch with us.
