About The Tasting House
We believe most wines are better with food, and most foods are better with wine. A perfect pairing is an experience everyone should enjoy....often. Our unique approach to food and wine means we are "wine first". We first curate the wine list which includes more than 65 wines by the glass and half glass and design a food menu that specifically complements the wine offering. Our passionate team, which includes ten sommeliers, is proud to offer our guests an award winning selection of wines by the bottle. Tasting House’s kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera. Julian spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC, working with chefs like Wylie Dufresne and Nahid Ahmed. He then took his talents to Florida’s Knife and Spoon, where he helped garner a coveted Michelin star for the restaurant. Chef Julian is passionate about sourcing hyperlocal ingredients, currently partnering with more than 27 Bay Area farmers. His menu continuously evolves to reflect the seasonal bounty of the Bay Area and draws inspiration from global flavors. Next door to the Tasting House wine bistro is our Champagne Bar serving more than 100 true Champagnes.
