Built in 1849, the Tavern on the Square is rich in history and was once part of the Underground Railroad. Enjoy homemade Chicken and Biscuits, Ham Loaf, Pot Roast, Battered Cod, Gourmet Burgers, 28-Day Aged Steaks, Ribeye Steaks, Grilled Salmon. homemade soups, specialty salads, sandwiches, and more. With our country style portions, you’ll never leave hungry. All of our desserts are fresh baked and homemade. Choose from Blackberry Cobbler, Coconut Cream Pie, Pecan Balls, Apple Dumplings, Bread Pudding, Brownie Sundae, and of course our famous Sticky Buns. The Tavern has four private dining rooms one which accommodates up to 50 guests.
