THE TEN SPOT® is north america’s fastest growing beauty bar. a celebrated brand, THE TEN SPOT® is led by creator and ceo kristen gale, one of the north america's most recognized young leaders and entrepreneurs. in 2006, kristen saw an opportunity to close the beauty market gap between the cheap and often-questionable nail shops and expense and often over-the-top spas. kristen envisioned an offering that combined the efficiency of the nail salons with the service excellence of spas. kristen harnessed the perfect storm of concept, timing, and market. she targeted the massive demographic of women aged 18 – 65 with a goal to deliver what all busy women want: a one-stop-shop for getting all their beauty maintenance services in one “spot”. in 2012, the first franchise opportunities were created to fuel THE TEN SPOT®’s growth. expansion into the us soon followed. the original canadian corporate locations were sold to eager franchise partners and kristen and her team set their sights on taking over (the beauty bar) world.
