About The Travel Den
After over 30 years working with other travel agencies, The Travel Den was born as the result of a decision to take a leap of faith and go it alone! This will enable us to work closely with tour operators and suppliers we have the most confidence in, and open up opportunities to be more competitive for our clients, alongside offering a tailored, dedicated and personal service. We all have busy lives and look forward to taking time off to go away. The internet has recently become the go to place to look for inspiration for a holiday… and there the frustration begins! So many suggestions… how to choose and how long will it take to get the right holiday decided on?! This is where we come in - one call or email giving us an outline of where you want to go, your requirements and your budget - then just leave the research to us. Booking through a travel consultant doesn’t mean it will cost you more than using an internet based company. What it does mean is that you will get personal service, often we will save you money on flights, cruises and accommodation as we work with companies that do not sell to the general public and, when you book flights with land arrangements or a cruise, your holiday will be protected by an ATOL license, This means in the event of a flight or another element of your holiday being cancelled, it will be the responsibility of the company the holiday is booked through to either rebook an alternative option within an a acceptable timeframe or, if not possible, your money will be refunded.
