About The Traveling Polands

We are Shaun Poland and Emily Johnson, a couple based in North Carolina. Since 2021, we dreamed of hitting the open road in a travel trailer. In 2024, we finally made that dream come true when we bought a Forest River Work and Play 23LT. Our trailer lets us bring along the things we love: Shaun’s motorcycle and Emily’s kayak, so whether we’re carving corners on a winding road or gliding across calm waters, we’re always ready for adventure. We travel with our family too; Seymour, our loyal dog, tags along on every journey, and our two cats, Mushnik and Otis, join us on the longer trips. They add a cozy dash of home to our life on the road. We’re still fairly new to trailer camping, but our excitement is boundless. We love exploring scenic landscapes, visiting family and friends, and working remotely from wherever the road takes us. For us, the real joy is not just reaching a destination, but it's in the experiences we have and memories we create along the way. Our mission? To share those adventures, travel tips, and work-from-anywhere stories with fellow wanderers and inspired dreamers. Whether you’re seeking campground reviews, gear suggestions, or just a touch of travel inspiration, we hope our story brings you value, encouragement, and maybe a little wanderlust.
