About The Trilogy
Arising out of the heightened societal and Corporate American acknowledgement of the devastating impact of systemic racism and social injustice in our industries and our society, The Trilogy is a conversation that reflects our aligned belief of the imperative for urgent and fundamental change in the approach to anti-racism. Focused on what we, as individuals, are empowered and have agency to advance in this critical movement, we explore the framework of ALLYSHIP | MENTORSHIP | SPONSORSHIP. Our conversation reflects on: (1) What can we do to disrupt the significant impediments that have, thus far, prevented the dismantling of systemic racism within the insurance industry? (2) What are actions that we, individually and collectively, can take to truly advance Black professionals as well as other marginalized groups in our industry? (3) Irrespective of where each of us may fall on our own diversity journey, how do we start to truly foster transformation of diversity, equity and inclusion? The Trilogy challenges the normalized view defining mentorship, sponsorship and allyship as separate and distinct siloes. Instead, The Trilogy embraces and amplifies the synergies, intentions and actions at the heart of true ALLYSHIP | MENTORSHIP | SPONSORSHIP.
