Tess Turner founded The Turnery, after nearly three decades of experience at Senior Executive level across HR and Operations within the FMCG industry across NSW and Western Australia. Tess is a dynamic and innovative business leader with a demonstrated record across developing and implementing new strategy, organisational design, change management, workplace relations, conflict resolution, workforce planning, crisis management, new site establishment and shut down. HR Metrics and business performance monitoring, review and improvement are a strength for Tess. A skilled facilitator, Tess enjoys working with groups to assist their understanding of key business initiatives and strategies to ensure actions are aligned to the same. Mentoring and Career Coaching are a real passion for Tess, building lasting and impactful relationships with those she works with. Tess has served as a Director for Franklins Ltd Superannuation Board, Board member for NFP organisation, Swan Alliance and a committee member for Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Western Australia - Employment, Education and Training Committee. Tess has presented at the Western Australia HR Leaders Summit in 2012 - "What CEOs Want and Need From HR" and played a key role in fundraising for the Children's Leukaemia and Cancer Research Foundation as well as Princess Margaret Children's Hospital in Western Australia.
