About The UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy
The UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy is the home of Hypno-CBT® – a cutting edge, evidence-based integration of hypnosis, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and mindfulness. Founded in 2003, the College delivers the UK’s only externally verified Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, awarded by NCFE. Our approach is strongly grounded in psychological science, drawing on research into hypnosis from institutions like Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley, and UCL. The Diploma training programme is approved by The British Psychological Society (BPS) – reflecting its rigour and relevance for psychological professionals. Training is structured yet flexible, you can study and quality at home from anywhere in the world, and is delivered through one-to-one tutoring (Oxbridge style) and extensive experiential practise sessions for deep integration of theory and skills. Our courses are trusted by professionals across the NHS and private sector, including delivery to psychologists at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The College is led by Mark R. Davis – therapist, trainer, and developer of Hypno-CBT®. Mark uniquely integrates hypnosis, CBT, mindfulness, and yoga philosophy. He leads a team of over 20 highly qualified trainers, tutors and supervisors, who support students and graduates in the Hypno-CBT® approach. Our Senior Advisory Board includes world-leading CBT experts: – Dr Donald Meichenbaum PhD (co-founder of CBT) – Dr Daniel Mirea BABCP Acc (integrative CBT specialist) – Dr Krissie Ivings BABCP Acc (Senior Clinical Psychologist) Graduates go on to build thriving private practices, offer coaching or therapy services, and apply Hypno-CBT® in a wide variety of settings. ✅ Science-based cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy ✅ NCFE-verified Level 5 Diploma ✅ BPS-approved ✅ Evidence-based approach Learn more at ukhypnosis.com or search “Hypno‑CBT®”.
