About The University of Scranton Men's Ice Hockey
Scranton Men's Ice Hockey was established in 1985, once competing in the ECAC South from 1985 to 1991 and in the ECAC West from 1991 to 1994, and then playing as an independent until 2004 when the program transitioned to the club level. In recent years, the program has taken great strides in advancing the Royals to become an increasingly recognized and competitive member of the ACHA. Recently recognized by the esteemed @hockeyhousepod and welcoming ever-improving talent with each passing year, the club has its sights set on becoming a force to be reckoned with in the rapidly expanding American Collegiate Hockey Association.
