About The University of Tulsa Kendall College of Arts and Sciences
The Kendall College of Arts and Sciences is a traditional liberal arts college embedded in a research university. Our faculty and staff prepare students not only for their first jobs, but for a lifetime of opportunities by challenging, enriching, and expanding students’ understanding of the world. With 104 full-time faculty, 30+ degree programs, and an average class size of 12, our professors get to know our students. Within our close-knit community, students create shared experiences and explore diverse ideas and backgrounds. We strive to help students transform their passions into fulfilling careers and report a 94% placement rate in jobs and graduate schools. Kendall College is home to six award-winning journals, including the James Joyce Quarterly, Tulsa Studies in Women’s Literature, Nimrod: International Journal of Prose and Poetry, and the Modernist Journals Project. In addition, students can participate in many experiential learning opportunities, such as the TUTV Media Lab, Third Floor Design, ACE Associates, the D’Arcy internship program, and the Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge (TURC).
