About The Urgency Room
The Urgency Room is an all-new acute care center created by EPPA, the same ER doctors who have been working in several Twin Cities’ hospitals across the metro for the past 50 years. We know as well as anyone that the ER experience is often frustrating for patients – long and uncertain waits, endless paperwork, and then multiple bills to top it off. The vast majority of patients we see in the hospital ER could be diagnosed and treated relatively quickly – and at far lower rates than charged in the ER. We knew there had to be a better way – one that was faster and less expensive, yet offered the same high-quality ER medical care along with a better experience all around for patients and their families. That’s why we created The UR. It’s a fast and friendly, fully staffed with the very best board-certified ER doctors and nurses and the latest medical technology. The UR can handle almost any injury or illness that you might traditionally take to the ER. As a rule of thumb, if you need an ambulance, go straight to the ER. But if you can drive, get a ride or walk, come see us. From the moment you walk into the UR you’ll be amazed at just how caring and attentive a medical experience can be. Not only will you save yourself a lot of time, you’ll likely save a lot of money too – without compromising the quality of care you receive. In fact, you’ll be seen by the best of the best.
