Our model for therapy is designed for the clinician to work collaboratively with parents, teachers and healthcare providers to ensure maximum success and carry-over of language skills and communication tools that can be applied in any environment. Therapy sessions are provided in English or Spanish, depending on your child’s native language. Voz Speech Therapy believes therapy sessions should be fun and engaging for your child. Our clinician specializes in a play-based therapy strategy that is individually tailored to include your child’s interests and areas of strength. Therapy sessions are designed to make your child gain confidence and feel capable of reaching his or her goals! Voz Speech Therapy specializes in working with children with autism spectrum disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, oral-motor disorders, expressive/receptive language disorders, learning disabilities, fluency disorders, social language impairments, articulation disorders and hearing loss/Cochlear Implant patients. She is certified in the Simon Says Tongue Tips and Thumbs Up! program for clients with orofacial myofunctional disorders and/or persistent thumb sucking. Co-treatment with your child’s occupational and/or physical therapist is available upon request.
