The Walker Center is Idaho’s premier alcohol and drug addiction treatment provider. As a not-for-profit entity, we seek to offer high-quality, evidence-based treatment services at an affordable price. Our Board of Directors is the governing body of the institution. The Chief Executive Officer is directly accountable to the Board of Directors and responsible to implement the organization’s objectives. As one of the leading treatment centers in the Northwest, The Walker Center has helped thousands of people find a way out of the devastation addiction brings to lead much more meaningful, productive lives. The Walker Center is licensed by the State of Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and is nationally accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Our Approach To Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation The Walker Center’s treatment approach blends the philosophy and principles embodied in 12-Step programs, like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, with evidenced-based treatment methods. We offer a complete continuum of care — from medically supported and clinically managed residential withdrawal management to monitor detoxification and residential treatment for adults only to individual counseling and outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults. With locations in Twin Falls and Gooding, our vast array of services are individualized to meet the needs of many clients seeking help for alcohol and/or drug problems.
