The Warming Surfaces Company is a spin out of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. We are digitalizing heating for the age of sustainability. Our patented ultra fast and thin, pixelated heaters are integrated into the surfaces we touch in our living environments. Fast response digital warming surfaces enable controlling in-door warmth near real-time and as seamlessly as controlling lighting. 63% of energy consumed by EU households (48% in USA) goes to heating of living spaces. We aim to contribute to cutting 20% of that energy consumption, while at the same time increasing comfort of living and work efficiency. No more bulky heating systems. Digital warming surfaces are ultra thin and ultra lightweight, produced with only a fraction of the materials used in conventional heating systems.
