The Wheelhouse Collaborative provides early childhood education workforce support services and Engineering Mindset curriculum to early childhood providers and programs. Our Mission: To welcome and support all Early Childhood Educators on their professional journey through collective action and shared resources. To harness the potential of every person who desires to make a difference in our young children’s education and development. It is our top priority to provide a space or “vessel” that is welcoming, organized, and relevant to ECE practitioners of diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We offer alternatives to full-time teaching as well as high-quality training to support the ECE workforce. As the logo suggests, we are committed to inclusivity and equity and believe that everyone deserves a “seat at the wheel” as we chart our course together. Whether you are an aspiring educator, business owner, or director, we can help with workforce support solutions that will transform early childhood programs with a more meaningful, long-term approach that has ripple effects throughout educational communities. TWC Services: 1.) Professional Development: Tailored training and individualized coaching for ECE programs 2.) Substitutes on Standby Mobile App: Substitute guest teachers and kitchen staff available through the SOS Mobile App. 3.) ECE Engineering Curriculum: 12-hour PLC, "Social-Emotional Skill Building Through Engineering Mindset" (training + coaching)
