About The Wild Glen

The name ‘The Wild Glen’ was developed with three things in mind – the location of the business being Glenealy, Co Wicklow, the mind itself being overwhelmed and a little ‘Wild’ in need of some care and rest and finally nature and earth being key to our products. ‘The Wild Glen’ seemed to capture the essence of all these elements. The beauty of nature and its grounding properties are at the core of this small family business as is the joy of giving gifts that will capture peoples hearts. AAll our candles are made using EcoSystem Rapeseed & Coconut (RCX) natural wax blend. This wax is made from rapeseed oil and coconut oil and nothing else. It is completely free from paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax and synthetic additives. Unlike traditional paraffin wax candles, our candles are non-toxic and do not release harmful chemicals when burned. In addition, they burn longer and cleaner, meaning they produce less soot and residue. Our fragrance oils which we mix with the wax are sourced locally from Bomar Aromatherapy in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, all of which are derived from high-quality synthetic ingredients.
