About The Window Tinting Company
The Window Tinting Company is a family owned full service window film company providing solar, safety, and decorative films for the interiors of residential and commercial glass. Since 1973, WTC has been fortunate enough to collaborate with people of unmatched professional integrity. This translates in modeling, designing, and installing the products that you need while providing the service you expect. OUR STORY: “I never intended on making window film a career.” I was fresh out of college, newly married and working a miserable personal banking job. I desperately needed a change. In 1995, I approached my father (Dave Sr.) who owned a successful automotive tinting company and asked him for a job. Initially, I think he was a bit reluctant but eventually conceded to my request. He made me a deal to assist him in developing the untapped home and office window tinting market with one specific proposition, “You install everything you sell.” I hit the ground running selling window film to anyone that would take my meeting. I designed and mailed my own marketing, made my own cold calls, pitched every sale and yes, installed every job for over ten years. As the demand for window film grew, we did too. I was able to hire installers and sales people, designers and estimators. I even added another “catch-all” family member in my brother (Dave Jr.). I still believe that the sky is the limit for our company. Although we have grown from that little automotive tinting business, we still are family, all of us, a big window film family, solving peoples problems and having fun along the way. WHERE ARE WE GOING? The ever-changing window film industry is moving fast. Advances in window film technology and installation have allowed WTC to expand our offerings to a broader clientele. State of the art material advances include spectrally selective window films, ceramic films, safety films, low-e films and custom printed decorative films.
