Our grand Victorian building on the Horsemarket has been at the heart of Teesdale's cultural life for generations. As a registered charity and community venue, we offer a wide range of cultural, community, and commercial activities. Our centre features a beautifully refurbished music hall, a cosy café bar, an art gallery, and a lovely garden, making it an ideal spot for socialising and entertainment. We host a diverse array of events and activities, including theatre, music, dance, film, comedy, art exhibitions, and various classes, providing an enriching community space for all ages. We're committed to accessibility and community engagement, regularly hosting live performances, comedy shows, film screenings, and creative workshops. Known for our welcoming atmosphere, we strive to make the arts accessible to everyone. Our venue is versatile, offering various rental spaces perfect for celebrations, meetings, and other events. Our Music Hall, which can seat 250 people, is equipped with a full theatrical lighting rig and Dolby 5.1 cinema surround sound. We also have several smaller rooms ideal for meetings and classes. Our café bar and gift shop, which doubles as a visitor information point, provide a cosy space to enjoy locally sourced food and drink.
