About The Women's Basketball Fund
The Women Basketball Fund was founded in 2023 with the goal to support female athletes journey's from high school through post-secondary, with the hope of assisting our athletes reach their dream to become professional athletes. The Women Basketball Fund provides credible and substantial financial assistance that enables Canadian female athletes to excel both on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible; alongside completing an athlete application, athletes must be entering their first year of a Canadian college or university on a partial-athletic basketball scholarship. We're committed to fostering a more inclusive sports landscape, we adhere to rigorous standards and transparency, ensuring all young women have access to opportunities and support in their athletic and educational endeavors. The Women Basketball Fund is officially administered by the KBF Canada Foundation, a member of Philanthropic Foundations Canada (PFC).
