About The Women's Network
The Women's Network ("TWN") is revolutionizing networking as we know it for early-career women. Our community champions and nurtures ambition, providing critical resources and connections to help women achieve professional success. TWN is the largest collegiate women’s networking organization in North America. Our mission is to connect early-career women and non-binary people to industry leaders, professional development resources, career opportunities, and mentorship, cultivating ambition to prepare the next generation of leaders. At present, TWN boasts 120 college chapters in the United States, Canada, and Ireland, and has more than 55,000 active members in our community. TWN hosts a variety of experiences: speaker meetings, alumni receptions, networking events, workshops, leadership seminars, social gatherings, and more. TWN also hosts a podcast - "Redefining Ambition" - to highlight the personal and professional journeys of ambitious leaders and to introduce women to a wide array of career choices. Founded at Syracuse University in 2017 by Jamie Vinick, TWN has impacted tens of thousands of young women at one of the most transformative times of their lives. Because of TWN’s influence, members have changed their college majors, pursued different fields of interest, developed more confidence, negotiated their salaries, invested money, found mentors/mentees, cultivated meaningful personal and professional relationships (many TWN members have made life-long friends), and strengthened their leadership skills.
