About The Women's Therapy Practice ®
The Women's Therapy Practice ® (WTP) offers a unique opportunity for women to pursue true flourishing in their lives – physically, emotionally, creatively and relationally. Led by founder Dr Liza Messing, WTP is grounded in 20+ years of experience working in the NHS and specializing in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). The WTP strives to support women to a deeper understanding of how patriarchal expectations deeply impact us all on a personal and professional level. These expectations are often unconscious and can manifest as limiting beliefs, distress and feelings of burden. Rather than accepting these conditions as ‘normal', WTP seeks to uncover the root causes of suffering and empower women to reach their fullest potential. Through one-to-one sessions with a feminist informed therapist, WTP helps women to map out the impacts patriarchy has had upon them and provides access to a range of professional development opportunities to create lasting change.
