About The Women’s Leadership & Entrepreneurship Center (WLEC)
The Women’s Leadership and Entrepreneurship Center (WLEC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting, empowering, and equipping (SEE) women in leadership and entrepreneurship. Our goal is to transform leadership aspirations into intentional and impactful personal and professional growth and development, as well as transform entrepreneurial aspirations into income-generating ventures. WLEC provides free and low-cost, accessible leadership and entrepreneurship resources for both established and emerging women-owned, mom-owned, and female-minority-owned businesses across the Pacific Northwest (PNW). By fostering a diverse community, we deliver transformative and inclusive support that promotes economic growth, development, and overall success. OUR MISSION: To support, empower, and equip women in their leadership and entrepreneurial endeavors, fostering a vibrant community of diverse leaders and entrepreneurs that drive social and economic change and development throughout the Tri-Cities and the greater Pacific Northwest. OUR VISION: To create a dynamic and inclusive environment where women leaders and entrepreneurs thrive, empowering them to achieve their fullest potential and transform their communities through free and low-cost services, programs, and membership benefits that promote innovative and sustainable leadership and entrepreneurship practices. We aspire to be the premier hub and catalyst for change, fostering a community where all women can access the resources and support necessary to lead, innovate, and succeed in their personal, professional, leadership, and entrepreneurial journeys. THE GOAL: To establish a physical location in the Tri-Cities, Washinton State, that serves as the primary hub for women to attain resources, support, and empowerment on their personal, professional, leadership, and entrepreneurial journeys.
