We started The Workers Journal out of necessity, we wanted to create a space for everyday workers to learn, connect and grow. Whether you work in the corporate world, for local government, the charity sector, the service sector or anything in between, we’ve created this space for you! Our ultimate goal is to give you tools, insight, inspiration and to create an online community that will help you achieve success in the workplace. We aim to do this by creating great content, giving you access to information and helpful resources to inspire you to take bold career steps or strategically plan your next move. Who We Are? We are a husband and wife duo with over 35+ combined years of experience in the world of work. We have been through everything from starting new jobs in new countries to being made redundant, dealing with workplace drama and the highs and lows of managing staff, teams and projects. There are probably very few workplace scenarios we have not encountered. We created The Workers Journal as a way to document the realities of working life and provide a resource to help everyday workers navigate through the world of work. We hope you enjoy this blog.
