About The Write Club

Write Club is a dynamic community of writers from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our club is an inclusive space for aspiring and established writers to connect, collaborate, and develop their craft in a supportive environment. At the heart of our community is a commitment to building a diverse literary scene from scratch. We believe that everyone has a story to tell, and we work hard to ensure that our club is a safe and welcoming space for all writers, regardless of their background or level of experience. Our members come from a wide range of cultural, linguistic, and creative traditions, and we value and celebrate the unique contributions that each individual brings to the table. As a club, we are also deeply committed to fundraising efforts for literacy across Canada. We believe that reading and writing are essential skills that should be accessible to everyone, and we work tirelessly to support organizations that promote literacy and education in our communities. Our fundraising efforts have helped to provide books, resources, and support to individuals and organizations across Canada, and we are proud of the impact that we have been able to make. In addition to our fundraising efforts, our club is also deeply committed to independent publishing efforts. We believe that there is immense value in grassroots approaches to reviving Canada's literary scene for a new generation, and we work hard to create opportunities for emerging writers to publish and promote their work. Whether through our own publications or collaborations with other independent publishers, we are dedicated to creating a vibrant and diverse literary landscape that reflects the richness and complexity of our communities.
