About The Yard Butler

The Yard Butler is a family-owned company based out of Idaho Falls. Darren and Amy Rhoades are the current owners. The business was originally started as a snow removal company by Darren’s father, Don Rhoades, in 1970. In 2000, Don passed away. Darren kept the snow removal company moving forward. With a new name, “Dad’s Snow Removal Company” continued to grow as a side business while Darren worked as a lineman for Idaho Falls Power. In 2011, Darren purchased “The Yard Butler”, a local business that was a summer-only landscape maintenance company. Dad’s Snow Removal was merged into The Yard Butler to create a new business that provides year-round landscaping and snow removal. In 2016, The Yard Butler was taken to another level as Darren resigned from Idaho Falls Power and bought another landscape and snow removal company – B&B Lawn Care. The company was expanded to provide services in Utah and continues to thrive today.
