About Thera-Play Pediatrics
THERA-PLAY PEDIATRICS is an innovative private physical, speech and occupational therapy practice dedicated to improving the well being of children throughout Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley. Designed for young children of all abilities—and their families—we offer a variety of services that can help your child experience the world with greater confidence thanks to improvements in mobility, strength coordination, cognition, communication, social-emotional development, and/or sensory processing. Thera-play, a labor of love opened its doors October 2007. Owned and operated by Emily Roberts, an Occupational Therapist. Emily leads her team of Speech, Physical and Occupational therapists who are specifically trained in pediatric care. We provide quality therapists who have completed post-graduate training in their field and have acquired various specialties of service. We are proud to offer bilingual therapists, an AAC device specialist, feeding specialists, sensory processing specialists, and Certified Beckman Oral Motor providers. We believe in providing functional, child led services that are developmentally appropriate. We are passionate about providing information and communicating with our families, and other care providers to develop an individualized team to fit every child's special needs. We continually add and implement innovative treatment approaches to our patient's plans of care. Thera-Play Pediatrics is a Medicaid Provider and in-network with most major insurances.
