About TheraDogs
Our company was founded on the knowledge that pets make a difference in people’s lives. We are a for profit company. We then use those profits to provide the same services for free to the school children of Philadelphia. Kids in our city experience a high level of trauma in their neighborhoods and home environments. They often end up with PTSD and Anxiety that can lead to life long learning difficulties. Studies have shown that exposure to a therapy animal can mitigate or eliminate PTSD if provided within 10-14 days of the event. Though we hope to expand to other areas. We are and will always remain a Philly based company dedicated to assisting the school children of The City of Brotherly Love.
