By giving more time for consultation before a full length treatment begins at no extra cost or loss of time from the hour. A health questionnaire is utilized to assist in giving safe care and a detailed treatment plan based on health goals. No two treatments are alike. Sandy Saldano, owner and Licensed Massage Therapist for 30 years, started TK in 1997 after working as a chiropractic assistant. Her background was the motivation for creating a more clinical approach to massage that focused more on educating clients on how to incorporate massage as a lifestyle to reap cumulative benefits in the prevention of pain and stress. All 12 of the therapists on staff are hand-picked by Sandy and her onsite Training and Education Director, Bobbe, who taught at Chicago School of Massage Therapy (Now Cortiva) for many years and is a Licensed Massage Therapist of over 30 years, as well. In addition, all staff employees are non-commission and are afforded full-time benefits, unlike many franchise operations. Creating a great work environment makes for great customer service and a team approach that clients greatly benefit from. That means they can see any therapist that suits their schedule. TK provides ongoing continuing education so that skills are equitably distributed. No more worrying about hurting a therapist’s feelings when seeing a different therapist. With so many techniques to choose from, like Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, etc., there is a variety of styles and therapists that can provide exactly what is needed at a time that is convenient.
