TheraVista is changing the game in vestibular physical therapy. Physical Therapists prescribe our app to engage patients in evidence-based games for vestibular & balance rehabilitation. Physical Therapists can bill Medicare and commercial plans for this Remote Therapy Monitoring (RTM), improving clinic revenue and patient outcomes at the same time. TheraVista was born out of NIH-funded research into motion tracking and evidence-based games to help patients with vestibular issues like vertigo, dizziness, PPPD, and vestibular hypofunction. After successful clinical trials with the University of Kansas Medical Center, TheraVista was created to commercialize this new approach. Today, most physical therapists send patients home with a paper handout of vestibular exercises, perhaps with a few links to videos demonstrating the techniques. TheraVista's approach is to have our App on the patient's own smartphone to do many of the things at home that a therapist would do in the office. The app is designed to prompt patients with the right exercises on the right schedule, watch them do the exercise, provide corrective feedback, and ask questions afterward to assess how it went. Thanks to new CPT codes for Remote Therapy Monitoring (RTM) in 2022, our solution lets physical therapists earn additional revenue while improving patient outcomes.
