Furnace & site engineers, manufacturers and specialist alloy fabricators. Therser Wellman supports the activities of the previous ALMOR Group, in the areas of heat treatment and other process sectors where high temperatures or corrosive environments are encountered. The group provides a comprehensive offering to the Thermal Processing Industry bringing together a number of complementary furnace engineering and alloy fabrication companies with histories going back to 1904. Our multi skilled team of experienced engineers enables the group to meet most heat treaters’ needs from the design and supply of new equipment through responsive service and support to process plant re-engineering. The groups unique capability is relied upon daily by many blue chip companies, for whose requirements the Therser Wellman (ALMOR) Group continues to develop new products and services. In August 2015 Wellman Furnaces (established 1904) was acquired by Almor Ltd and in July 2022 Therser UK acquired the intellectual property for the Almor Group. The new combined group now operates under the prestigious Therser UK Ltd organisation as Therser Wellman. The groups enhanced furnace engineering team will underpin the Wellman and Wild Barfield Furnace divisions providing a portfolio of new furnace installations along with enhanced after sales support and service. The Therser Wellman Group has factories across the Stoke area (3 off) and a factory in Tipton, West Midlands.
