“Thick As A Brick” means stubbornly stupid; we are “Thick As A Brick.” Conventional wisdom says recruiting firms need to get as many qualified candidates as quickly as possible presented to their clients. Qualified in today’s vernacular often means the candidates have a few keywords in their resume that match a job description. Rapid-fire sourcing combined with a lack of understanding of the roles doesn’t allow for adequate screening. So the task of screening falls on the client. We are stubbornly stupid enough to think we can do better. We will be working with like-minded firms to prove that we can deliver the right candidate for our clients the first time.
