Think Tank QA focuses on early participation to help our partners plan for quality, developing and documenting quality processes, functional and exploratory tests, and executing test plans and test cases in support of mobile and web deployments. While Think Tank QA is excited to provide hands-on testing and support, our primary value is in helping partners establish, develop or improve their own quality practice, and build sustainable quality via our design consultation services. The key to a sustainable quality process is to engage Quality focused engineers from the beginning of the design process, and increase their participation as the product nears its deliverable state. Experienced quality engineers are uniquely qualified to ask questions from perspectives that designers, developers, and product owners can’t easily see due to their close proximity to the product. Quality Engineers can spot inconsistencies, potential user-level issues, and missteps in design on a whiteboard. They can define the issue, and ask the right questions that allow the entire team to address it before even the first lines of code are committed. Think Tank QA Engineers are carefully selected for this skill, based on decades of experience working in, thinking about, learning about, and testing interactive software, and the hardware that it supports.
