About Third Coast Surf Shop / Third Coast Paddling
Since 2005, our mission at Third Coast Surf Shop has been to spread the joy of the surfing lifestyle in the Great Lakes and beyond. Owned and operated by Great Lakes surfers, the shop offers a full line of surf and skate gear, clothing, and accessories; everything needed to get wet. In addition to its two retail stores in St. Joseph and New Buffalo, Third Coast Surf Shop provides rentals and other services to groups of up to 70 people at the following rental sites: · In Benton Harbor: at the Paw Paw River boat launch, 601 Graham Avenue. · In New Buffalo: at New Buffalo City Beach. Rental kayaks are available in both one- or two-person configurations and feature a stable, “sit-on-top” style for comfort. Stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) are oversized, beginner-friendly boards used with long, canoe-like paddles. Ideal for any age or skill level, both kayaks and stand-up paddleboards allow paddlers to explore any body of water at their own pace. All equipment, including paddles and lifejackets, is provided by Third Coast Surf Shop staff members at the rental sites.
