About_The design practice of THIS IS RICHARDS reflects the fundamental idea of relocation. Driven by the aim to explore the remote, unknown and invisible, being and thinking without borders embodies one of the studios’ key principles. JJ RICHARDS, Creative Director and owner of the studio, grew up in Buenos Aires, spent some time in New York and then moved to Madrid. Moving abroad means to cross territory borders and start to connect elsewhere. In doing so, she promotes a collaborative, transnational and decentralized practice, questioning the traditional boundaries of space, time and professions.
