Fine wine and sustainable viticulture meet in an award-winning union of flavour and sophistication. Thistle Hill wines are truly elegant in style. One of Mudgee’s pioneering wineries, Thistle Hill’s vineyard has been certified organic with NASAA (National Association for Sustainable Agriculture) since 1993. The cabernet sauvignon has been described as one of the continent's best by critical reviewer Robin Bradley and has been awarded a coveted five-star rating, five years in a row. Thistle Hill’s 2009 Riesling won the coveted trophy for the Best Wine of the Show and the trophy for the Best White Wine at the 2009 Australia-New Zealand Organic Wine Show in June this year. This follows on from Thistle Hill’s 2008 Riesling and 2006 Chardonnay winning the highest points in the Riesling and Chardonnay classes at the 2008 Australia-New Zealand Organic Wine Show.
