About Thompson-Mathis Metal Manufacturing Company
Thompson-Mathis Metal Manufacturing has been serving the greater Dallas area as a supplier of sheet metal, gutter components, and custom metal fabrication since 1966. Thompson-Mathis Metal was established in 1962 by Davis Thompson, who supplied sheet metal for fabrication shops, HVAC and sign businesses. In 1993 when Davis was ready to retire, John Mathis, a long-time family friend purchased the company, added gutter products to the inventory and shortly afterward acquired The Dieckmann Company to sell downspout elbows nationally. In 2004, Elizabeth Mathis took over the family company, purchased K-style and Half-round gutter machines, hired and trained employees to do metal fabrication, and began marketing custom roof accessories.
