Hello friends—we’re Thread & Signal, also known as Thread and Signal. We’re a husband-and-wife team focused on softening chaotic spaces, one design at a time. The name “Thread and Signal” reflects what we build. A thread ties things together—woven yarns on the outside of our cables, or threaded parts in our 3D-printed tools. A signal carries meaning—electricity through a wire, or the creative spark that moves from maker to maker. Combined, Thread & Signal is our way of connecting utility and beauty. We believe that the objects around us should reflect intention, care, and character—and that makers deserve to make money doing meaningful work. In a world of disposable design and tangled wires, Thread and Signal reclaims the space between 3D-printed utility and artistry. Every model we release carries a completely open license, so manufacturers and print farms can build a business around staple designs without restriction. Through carefully chosen processes, affordable materials, and hands-on testing, we aim to help you create products that feel timeless, not temporary. Our mission is simple: calm the clutter, empower makers, and help small manufacturers grow.
