About Three Feet High Foundation

The Three Feet High Foundation is a California-based nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to opportunity for some of the state’s most marginalized communities—justice-involved individuals, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA (particularly trans and gender-diverse) people. Our newest initiative, Hidden GEMS (Generating Employment for the Marginalized and Skilled), is building a statewide platform to connect highly skilled, justice-involved professionals with supportive employers. The platform will serve as a clearinghouse for talent, where individuals can safely and anonymously share their qualifications and context, and where employers committed to equity can access a hidden talent pool too often overlooked. Three Feet High also works across the broader equity landscape, supporting youth and adults through workforce development, arts and education programming, and community-rooted career initiatives. We partner with K–12 and community college systems, employers, and community-based organizations to design and deliver programs that elevate marginalized voices and remove systemic barriers. In addition to our direct services, we provide administrative support and capacity-building to like-minded organizations, helping them grow, scale, and sustain their impact. We are actively seeking mission-aligned partners, funders, and investors who believe in second chances, inclusive hiring, and building systems that work for everyone.
