About Threshold Games
Threshold Games is an indie, queer-led studio based out of Seattle, WA. Threshold was founded to create games that tell radical, visionary stories. We want our games to inspire players to build more just, sustainable futures. The studio was founded by June Saphry, a white, queer, trans writer and game designer, who leads the company with her Creative Co-Lead, Jessica Bean. The 11-member Threshold team is comprised of a mix of new developers and veterans from Sucker Punch (Ghost of Tsushima), WB Games (Batman: Arkham City & F.E.A.R.), En Masse Entertainment (The Exiled Realm of Arborea/TERA), Titmouse, Inc. (The Legends of Vox Machina), and Riot Games (League of Legends). Our company is fully remote, allowing a flexible work schedule. Unlike many studios in the industry, we value supporting genuine work-life balance for all team members, including those with families.
