It all started during our adventures in consulting. At our parent company, Mertech Data Systems, we helped our clients modernize their mission-critical software and migrate legacy applications to the cloud. The work had no shortage of challenges, such as the lack of effective APIs, fragile dependencies on custom code, and lack of remote access to data and core business logic. The traditional answer in these scenarios forced organizations to refactor. Or in worse cases, completely rewrite their applications, which is time-consuming, expensive, and risky. There had to be a better solution. Fortunately, there was. We discovered that we could use an application’s existing functions and turn them into multi-protocol, secure APIs. This meant that any organization would have the easiest, fastest, and most secure way to create flexible, modern IT solutions. Since then, we’ve been on a mission to make it simple for any business to join the connected world, without the need to write any extra code.
