Thrive Frozen Nutrition began a decade ago, with the idea of disrupting the healthcare, senior care, and sports nutrition industries with nutritionally enhanced, real foods that are not only healthy, but also enjoyable to eat. These industries were ripe for change as many dietary supplements have unsavory taste or texture and often include a host of artificial or less desirable ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, palm oil and fillers. Dietitians actively look for products to support their nutritional strategies, are palatable to those in their care and are not wasted due to not being consumed. We launched Thrive Ice Cream in 2011 with the brand promise "Real Ice Cream. Real Benefits." Because of its appeal, ice cream is a natural fit for delivering nutrition to patients, seniors, athletes, and children. Each 6-ounce cup ocontains 9 grams of protein, 24 vitamins and minerals, 3 grams of natural fiber, and 4 active probiotics, including GenedonBC30, to support digestive and immune health. Thrive Ice Cream is gluten-free, certified kosher, Real Dairy certified, and low in lactose. It can be used as a meal supplement, snack or dessert, and is an appropriate nutritional tool for addressing a number of medical conditions like unintended weight loss, dysphagia, IBS, Crohn's and colitis, dementia, wound care, and more. It enhances quality of life - most people prefer a cup of ice cream to a liquid supplement! In 2018, we launched Thrive Gelato. Like Thrive Ice Cream, our gelato is also nutritionally enhanced, contains high quality ingredients and packaged for smaller appetites in 4-ounce single-serve cups.
